The first scenic spot in Moon Lake is Willow Islet. In 1021, Monk Yunzhen built two bridges over Willow Islet which are now called Ludian Bridge and Shangshu bridge.Later, governor Qian improved water channel and river banks, had the trees and flowers planted, established pavilions, which attracted countless tourists and made the place rustling and bustling. Particularly, in spring and summer, the young men and young women enjoyed themselves with endless music and trumpet sounds. The famous poets, like Sima Guang and Wang Anshi all contributed poems to governor Qian, which was popular and became a scenic spot 40 years later. In the past, there were Zhongle Pavilion, Yilao Hall, Hanxu Museum, Siming post station, Siyi building, Shuiyun pavilion, ancestral hall of minister Min, Guandi Temple. Nowadays, it is the important traffic thoroughfare connecting the south and north with ancestral hall of He clan, Buddhist residences, Guandi Temple and Jiewu Arch well preserved.
