       As China is a country long favoring the study of Confucian classics, every province, prefecture and county builds Zunjing Pavilion to house Confucian classics. The Pavilion, which used to be inside the governor’s house, is an architecture with gable and hip roof and double eaves renovated during the reign of Guangxu (1875-1903). In 1935, with the generous donation of Ningbonese, the building was shifted here, forming a scene that a private library and official library standing front and back.
