release time:2017-05-03 Views:

Chaoran Pavilion. Built in the Qing Dynasty, it is now a cultural site under municipal protection. Originally situated on the Willow Islet, it has now been shifted to the intersection of Maya Street and Yanyue Street. Being a triple-eave gablet-roof architecture, it was built in the 11th year of Daoguang’s reign, and has two stone tablets in it recording the general condition of free schools. The Chaoran Pavilion is also called Wenchang Pavilion. Wenchang is the god in charge of one’s scholarly honor or official rank. The Pavilion now is an open place for art and literature exchanges by Ningbo Federation of Literature and Art.
