To the south of Tianyige is the 3400-square-metre South Garden. With water as its theme, the Garden boasts shimmering water and exquisitely shaped rocks. With beautiful landscape and elegantly shaped buildings, it provides people a feeling of leisure and tranquility. Two buildings including Shuibei Pavilion, which used to be the library of Xu Shidong, a famous book collector of the Qing Dynasty, and Baojing Hall, formerly the library of Luzhi, another great book collector in the Qing Dynasty were shifted here.
